This is a sketch for my Etching ‘ Ika seijin ni aitai ‘ I couldn’t translate this word . I call it ‘ Wish to meet you ‘
これが最初のスケッチですがタイトルは ’イカ星人に会いたい’ 英語のタイトルは I want to meet alien from squid planet 。。。凄く変 なのでちょうど流れ星もある事で。 Wish to meet you。。。。
Tracing onto paper upside down, already different image ….When I transfer to plate will be more different!
反対向きに複写します。（もうこの時点で変わったイメージになってきたー！）まったく同じになぞるという事が苦手なので版に移すときには違うイメージになってませんように何時も祈ってます。
This is a first print from Etched plate. I was enjoying dot dot dot action for the ears.
シンプルに仕上げようと思ってたのですが耳に力が入りました。
This is final zink plate. I wanted to make darker for back ground. Decided to use Aquatint. Carefully put plate in the rosin box (with goggles and mask! looks already Alien ),then heated it up with fire, cool it down and straight into acid (?! ) I didn’t cover the cat to not make dark………put it into ACID.I thought that was like few minutes but maybe 10 second. Bubble came from cat face Oh Noooooooooooooo! I didn’t cover!

これが最終の銅版です。背景を夜空のように暗くするため銅版を宇宙人のようになって松脂ボックスへ運びます。その後火であぶり良い匂い（？！）がしてきたら火を止めさまします。その後は猫をカバーするはずだったんです。本当は。それが何故か忘れて液体に突っ込む事何分かなん十秒か。まったく覚えてない。。。。鳥の羽でぶくぶくの泡をとってたら猫の顔が黒くなって慌てて水道口へ走りました。
これ展示するんです。。。。どうなったか知りたい人はぜひ見に来てください。
